We are seeking highly dynamic, reliable and career-oriented individual with the much required knowledge, skill and experience to On the existing workforce.
EARTHWORK FOREMAN / SUPERVISOR
Earthwork supervisor required for mine infrastructure projects. Contract position with a view to permanency for the right candidate.
You will have a thorough knowledge of civil construction including bulk earthworks: ideally experienced with dam construction. You will have worked on similar projects for at least 10 years with a well-regarded contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the efficient daily running of construction activities
- Co-ordinate the earthworks operations,
- Assistance with contractor claims
- Lead the construction team while Raising with in-house engineering
- Provide effective leadership
- Prestart meetings, hazard identification and management of work sites.
You must be an effective communicator, possessing developed people skills that motivate your people to work productively without compromising workplace health and safety, quality or environmental aspects. You will need to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
