AstraZeneca Asia Pacific Business Services Sdn Bhd, a shared services centre located in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. The centre provides accounting and finance shared services to its companies in the Asia Pacific region and as such are seeking a team of talented and customer focused individuals to join their operation.

Finance & Accounting Team Leads
(Purchase To Pay, Record to Report & Fixed Assets, Sales Order to Cash and Banking)
Responsibilities
- Manage the activities of the Process Area for the Marketing Companies /Rep Offices / Business Areas
- To ensure the provision of activities in accordance with agreed service levels and in compliance with internal controls
- Lead, motivate and develop members of a transaction team within the wider process team ensuring that the team operates to the highest standards of financial control, compliance and the best practice and the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the specified process area
Accountabilities
- Manage the development and performance of the transaction team to achieve efficient and effective team working
- Act as a technical expert in the Process Area and to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of local fiscal and regulatory requirements associated with financial transaction processing
- Ensure a high level of understanding of the local business requirements and implement and operate financial controls and governance to a standard that ensure Sarbanes Qxley (SOX), Financial Controls Framework and Audit requirements are met
- Build and sustain effective relationships with local business to deliver performance and implement best practice
Requirements
- University Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g. ACCA/CPA/MIA
- At least 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting, including 2 years of managing an accounting transaction team in a performance driven environment
- Knowledge and experience in SAP, Oracle or other ERP system and may have trained or guided others in the application
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience of working in a shared service centre across a global / large organization will be an added advantage

Finance & Accounting Analyst
(Purchase To Pay, Record to Report & Fixed Assets, Sales Order to Cash and Banking)
Responsibilities
- Carry out transaction processing activities within a specified process area to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in accordance with agreed service levels and in compliance with internal controls and procedures
- Ensure quality and accurate delivery of services within agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Support team lead in activities to enhance the effectiveness of the team
Accountabilities
- Deliver a professional and consistent service to customers
- Perform the various tasks related to, and established for, handling transaction processing independently, including resolving queries and investigations in a timely manner
- Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within specified timescales
- Contribute to the development/changes in systems, transactions and processes
- Maintain good working relationships with internal customers and partners
Requirements
- Candidates must have at least Diploma in Finance & Accounting /Commerce or equivalent
- Possess 2-4 years of accounting work experiences
- Fresh graduates and candidates pursuing a professional qualification (Part Time) in ACCA or CIMA are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge and experience in SAP, Oracle or other ERP system will be an added advantage
- Experience of working in a shared service centre across a global / large organization will be an added advantage
- Good communication skill and fluent in English
