OFFICER, BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities:
- Assist the functional unit with the assessment of potential business impact, definition of critical, time-sensitive functions and design, develop and document the business unit’s business continuity plan
- Recommend recovery strategies and options, and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions
- Coordinate business continuity plan exercises
- Develop schedules for training/awareness for business units
- Coordinate the development of business unit schedules for annual business continuity documentation maintenance, updates, exercises and independent reviews and validation
- Report the business continuity status of business units to the Management, Parent Bank and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)
- Provide consultation and support to the Management and business functional areas when a business disruption occurs
- Review business continuity management procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in banking and business continuity or any related field
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills with excellent administrative skills in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates
- Knowledge of systems/technical will be an added advantage
- Willing to travel.
