Sales Manager
Vacancy Based in Penang
This position plays a vital role in coaching Medical Representatives and developing representatives’ ability to influence customers’ prescribing behaviors to deliver sales objectives and build AZ’s long-term business within the district. This position will also have responsibilities for the overall management of both material and human resources of the district in pursuit of this goal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably life-science related
- Minimum 2 years of sales management experience. with proven performance track record
- Good track record of customer orientation
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to plan and organize effectively to achieve results.
Procurement Manager
Job Based in Petaling Jaya
The Procurement Manager is responsible to lead the purchasing strategy in order to help AstraZeneca Malaysia achieve its commitments by identifying savings that add value to the organization and maximize its current resources. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and drive procurement plans in congruence with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies
- Lead the preparation of and solicit competitive bids, quotations and proposals
- Lead the evaluation of competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for a product or service. Develop bid evaluation approach in support of supplier selection process
- Conduct appropriate financial evaluation of suppliers as part of the RFP/sourcing process
- Develop contracts and agreements for the supply of both standard and complex products and services with new and existing suppliers
- Drive supplier performance through the application of appropriate supplier management measures and methods
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification
- 3 – 5 years experiences in Procurement and proficiency in other business related systems, e.g. ERP. Ariba
- Ability to use a range of negotiation and influencing techniques
- Energetic and self motivated
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate wills people at all levels.
Product Manager
Vacancy Based in Petaling Jaya
This position supports the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of marketing strategies/plans for the assigned product. As the brand lead, the Product Manager will work with the cross functional team to develop rigorous market understanding and identify differentiating customer insights. The Product Manager will also formulate competitive brand strategy and develop compelling key messages and activities for the brand. The Product Manager is also responsible for brand and A&P budget and support the sales team in meeting the brand objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ product management experience
- Degree in Science/Applied Science or Business/Commerce
- Broad understanding of the commercial, operational and strategic aspects of the Pharma industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to analyze and interpret data (scientific or otherwise) for marketing planning
- Ability to plan and organise effectively to achieve results.
Medical Representative (MR)
Based in Petaling Jaya, Penang, Melaka & Johor Bahru
This position will call on key doctors, specialists arid pharmacists within assigned territory to promote benefits of company products according to plan of action and field tactics objectives. The person will be assigned a range of products and a yearly sales target.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy/Science/Business related areas is preferred
- Between 20 – 35 years of age
- Pharmaceutical, nursing or paramedical experience is an added advantage
- Good communication skills in English
- Pleasant personality and disposition
- Possess valid driving license and own transport.
