Manager/Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts (Tax)
Responsibilities:
- Support the provision of tax functions from BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd’s Finance & Accounts Service Platform to other BASF companies in Malaysia
- Establish and maintain productive and cooperative relationship with other regional and global Finance & Accounts and Tax communities
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and adherence to Transfer Pricing Guidelines and ensure documentation is sufficient
- Ensure completeness of internal tax reporting and disclosure in statutory reports
- Advise on the tax implications of various business plans, transactions and processes (current or planned); and optimize Group’s tax efficiency through tax planning activities
- Provide support in tax projects due to changes in business operations and tax laws during tax audit process
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or recognized professional Accounting qualification
- At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in a multinational organization including 3 years tax experience in big/medium audit firms
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Finance & Accounts (Credit Management/Accounts Receivable)
Responsibilities:
- Work as a team in accomplishing the finance & accounting tasks specifically in the areas of Credit Management and Accounts Receivable, including Credit/Debit Notes processing and intercompany overdue invoices follow-up
- Assist in the preparation of financial and management report and analysis to support local management in KPI monitoring and business decision-making
- Support day-to-day activities of Accounts Receivable and Credit Management
- Address issues ansing and ensure compliance with company guidelines
- Provide support on ad hoc requests and projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or recognized professional Accounting qualification or in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts functions in a multinational organization with 3 years in Credit Management
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable and Credit Management
- Good working knowledge of the SAP application will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Finance & Accounts (Business Liaison)
Responsibilities:
- Support business units in accomplishing the finance & accounting tasks specifically in the areas of reporting and cost accounting/ controlling while ensuring compliance with the local regulations and BASF group finance & accounting requirements
- Provide Finance & Accounting support required to the business controllers in reconciling, analyzing and summarizing monthly reporting
- Act as focal point for business units in all finance & accounting related matters
- Undertake monthly review and approval of general ledger accounts with the business units.
- Prepare input and/or review the input of database maintenance into SAP, clearing accounts and cost centre and account maintenance relevant to the business units
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or recognized professional Accounting qualification or in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts functions in a multinational organization
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of statutory reporting, budgeting, planning, controlling and product costing
- Good working knowledge of the SAP application will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Senior Executive, Finance & Accounts (Reporting)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance & Accounting team in formulating and implementing finance & accounts policies, procedures and guidelines specifically in the areas of General Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare, maintain and review cost centres, GL accounts arid allocation cycles
- Coordinate with the cost centre owners for new/changes in allocations and update per operational requirements in accordance with local and group reporting requirements
- Assist in preparation of financial management accounts, group reporting packages and statutory accounts
- Provide analysis of the results of the company/business units/ functional units and recommendation to local management to support decision-making for projects and operational/business decisions
- Co-ordinate and work closely with internal and external auditors and relevant authorities/parties including shared service centre, regional and global teams
- Co-ordinate with all related parties to ensure successful month-end and year-end closing.

Requirements:
- Recognized professional Accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA or MICPA) or Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Finance 8, Accounts functions
- Good working knowledge of the SAP application wilt be an add. advantage.

Senior Executive, Corporate Communications
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in supporting marketing communications, promotions and branding needs of the company
- Coordinate and implement publicity, communications projects and campaigns, write publicity materials, support the production of internal publications and manage corporate events
- Manage public inquiries via the Internet and other communications channels and liaise with relevant subject experts to provide appropriate responses
- Responsible for all communication administrative requirements; budgeting, manage the processing & preparing of billings & payments, prepare project timesheet management and manage the Department’s photo & video database.

Requirements:
- Degree in any relevant disciplines with a communication background or equivalent
- At least 3 – 4 years’ working experience in corporate communications, public relations, advertising & promotions or event management
- Excellent command of written and spoken English With good presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organizational ability
- An active team play, confident, creative and resourceful
- Those with experience and skills in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, web content editing and good knowledge of social media management will have an added advantage
- Possess own transport will be an advantage
- Able to work irregular hours to manage projects.

Executive, Sales
Responsibilities:
- Assist in promoting the Company’s image in the Malaysian construction industry and provide marketing & sales support to the sales team for the entire range of products
- Ensure that sales kit and marketing literature is updated, controlled and distributed in a prompt and timely manner to the sales personnel as well as ensure annual customer surveys are conducted for future improvements
- Coordinate and follow up in accordance to the ISO procedures on customers’ complaints to ensure service excellence
Requirements:
- Degree in any Chemical qualifications, Marketing or Business Administration
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the cement industry, preferably as a Chemist or Engineer
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong inclination towards customer excellence
