Starting from the check-in process at the point of departure to one’s arrival at the final destination, SATS manages about 80% of Singapore Changi Airport’s ground handling services, handling passengers, flights, cargo and security.
Our Passenger Services team strives to provide a unique service experience for each airline passenger in Singapore Changi Airport everyday. Cargo Services include Coolport@Changi, Singapore’s first on-airport perishables handling centre, SATS Logistics Solution, a customized end-to-end logistics solutions and airfreight handling. SATS Security Services, an Auxiliary Police Force, is the preferred choice of security service providers for both the government and private sectors. With over 60 years of experience in lnflight Catering, SATS Catering is the first-choice airline caterer at Singapore Changi Airport.
PASSENGER & APRON SERVICES
Customer Service Agents (Full Time)
You play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for all our passengers. As a Customer Service Agent, you may be assigned different roles such as checking-in, greeting passengers upon their arrival and ensuring a smooth departure process. You could also be called upon to assist passengers with special needs.
Requirements:
- 3 SPM / SAP with credits including English
- Pleasant with cheerful disposition and good interpersonal skills
- Dynamic individual with service aptitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
Lead Assistants (Baggage)
You will load, unload, and sort baggage. on time for its intended flight. You will also operate baggage reconciliation devices and ground transportation equipment.
Requirements:
- Able to read and write simple English
- Preferably with a Class D driving license.
CARGO SERVICES
Cargo Coordinators / Trainee Cargo Coordinators
You will handle and process air cargo in the airfreight terminals. You will also engage airline clients and freight forwarders. Requirements:
- SPM passes with at least 2 years work experience
- Able to supervise and lead a team
- Preferably with a Class D driving license.
Lead Assistants (Coolport)
You will perform warehousing activities which includes acceptance, delivery and counter duties as well as breakdown, build up and
storage of cargo.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old with secondary education
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Preferably possess a valid Class D / E driving license.
Equipment Operators
You will operate forklifts, pallet trucks and tow cargo. Requirements:
- At least 21 years old with secondary education
- Valid Class D driving license
- Able to read, write and communicate in English.
Operations Assistants
You will prepare cargo shipments for export or distribution and
retrieve cargo from storage. You will also build up and count
cargo while loading into pallets & containers.
Requirements:
- SPM passes
- Possess work experience in an airfreight terminal or warehouse environment
- Normal colour vision
SECURITY SERVICES
Auxiliary Police Officers
You are responsible for airport, aircraft and passenger security at all touchpoints. Additional duties include protection and escort of VIPs and celebrities, valuable cargo, access control, protection of vital installations, and other major events (e.g. F1, SYOG, NDP, etc). Requirements:
- Physically and medically fit with normal colour vision
- Possess a minimum of 3 N level credits / 1 O-level pass / NITEC / 3 SPM credits.
Security Agents
Your duties will include baggage & aviation security, access control and x-ray screening.
Requirements:
- Able to speak and write English and possess a pleasant disposition
- Applicants with valid SO licence will have an added advantage.
CATERING
Cooks (Hot Kitchen)
You will assist in the production of meals, complying with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Possess certificate in culinary skills and able to prepare oriental dishes
- Able to read, write and speak basic English.
Catering Assistants (Production/ Preset/Equipment/Cabin Services)
You will be assigned one of the following roles:
- Assist with the preparation of inflight meals
- Collect, dish and wrap inflight meals, push meal carts and trolleys
- Prepare and perform quality check of bulk airlines equipment and place trays into meal carts
- Push meal carts and carry catering equipment in the kitchen and onboard aircraft
Requirements:
- Able to communicate in basic English
- Part-timers are welcome to apply.
Food Assembly Assistants (Pre-set)
You will collect items from the stores and kitchen, place them onto trays and into meal carts.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate in basic English
Baker
You will be involved in the activities of the Bakery section. Requirements:
- Possess certificate in Pastry & Baking; or
- Possess at least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position in a leading hotel or restaurant
Storekeeper
You keep accurate records of store items and receipt documents. You are also responsible for the issue of store items and proper stock rotation.
Requirements:
- Possess GCE ‘O’ level passes / GCE ‘N’ level credits / ITE Nitec / SPM / SAP passes
- Preferably comfortable with using computers and Microsoft Excel
