Sales, Factory Assistant & Admin Assistant Vacancies in March 2012


We are a U.S based company, operating globally for over 60 years, a world leader in high quality specialty building products and services for the construction industry. We have immediate vacancies for the following positions:

(1) Sales Executive
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed annual set sales target.
- Develop new business opportunities by creating a new customer base for the company and maintain close relationships with potential & existing customers.
- Closing and negotiation of contract.
- Submission of reports on customer visits and actions required.
- Prepare weekly sales report and order forecast.
- Motivate. manage and support Distributor network.
- Plan. develop and execute sales strategies to strengthen existing business and increase market share.
- Identify local market trends and requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Civil)/ Engineering (Mechanical) or at least a Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales working experience (preferably in the construction/ architectural industries).
- Good sales track record.
- Good selling and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet quotes.
- Good contact with Architects, Developers and Contractors will be an advantage.
- Preferably with Construction Contract knowledge.
- Possess and own a car with valid class 3 driving license.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Competent user of the Microsoft suite of programs.

(2) Factory Assistant
Responsibilities:
- To assist day to day operation of warehouse activities.
- Sample product fabrication.
- QC Incoming / Outgoing.
- Ability to handle basic QC equipment.
- Ability to operate hand tools like portable drilling machine, jigsaw, etc, would be an advantage.
- To prepare cargo for shipment.
- Stock inventory control & material usage forecast.
- To monitor sub-contractors compliance with given specification.
- Scheduling and planning on time deliveries.
Requirements:
- Possess Certificate/ Diploma in any Engineering discipline or equivalent with a minimum 5 years of working experience of which 3 years must be hands on.
- Computer literate with basic MS office application, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Good interpersonal, written, communication skills and able to interact with all levels of management in English .
- Resourceful, self motivator with strong personal drive, ambitious to excel and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to handle basic Quality Control instruments.
- Good team spirit and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform warehouse inventory transaction.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to accommodate irregular working hours when the situation arises.

(3) Admin Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Handle general admin tasks like filing, arrange for courier services, etc.
- Attend to phone calls, visitors. etc.
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing lists. commercial invoices & any other import/export related documents.
- Assist in data entry for stock inventory for all incoming/outgoing shipments.
Requirements :
- SPM graduate with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to speak and write English.
